The exact problem wasn't detailed, but it sounds like it relates back to the regretful save-game frame-rate glitch () the PS3 version of Skyrim suffered at launch - and for weeks after. There's a technical problem with Skyrim on PS3, and "this is not a problem we're positive we can solve", Bethesda's global community lead "gstaff" () wrote on the company's forum.
Skyrim vampire add-on Dawnguard may never come to PS3, Bethesda forewarned overnight - and nor may the newly announced Hearthfire DLC, either. I have no idea because I'm not a fan, but I just saw this news about the Dawnguard & Hearthfire DLC on PS3 and thought I'd post it. I agree about the main storyline being boring and some of the side-quests being repetitive but the guild quests were certainly better IMO if they took the quantity of guild quests in Oblivion and the quality/variety of guild quests in Skyrim and combined them and put them in the guilds in the next Elder Scrolls game then it would be heaven.Īnd I do love Skyrim but I do prefer the world of Cyrodil to Skyrim, the lush bright green forwards and big cities help get rid of the sense of gloom Skyrim conjures up.
Thankfully though the DLC packs have better main missions and better charactersĪctually, I think you would've gone for Skyrim even if you did play Oblivion because they are two different games. I'm so glad i played Skyrim before this because if i had played Oblivion first i don't think i'd have wanted to play skyrim which would suck cause it's an amazing game I found Oblivion to be really repetitive (especially the main storyline)Īnd the start of the game can be really punishing, and don't get me started on conversations with quest givers. I recently played oblivion after playing skyrim (my first RPG) I am glad to hear that they upped the AI in Dawnguard.Is this just for followers or enemies too? (from what you've noticed) I am going to leave Lydia once I save up some money for buying Breezehome., so I can store all my stuff. And yeah Meeko is the dog you find whose owner has died - whenever he dies, I reload :pi: And Barbas is the immortal dog, yes :p I didn't complete his quest so I have 2 dogs now xD A mage follower would be awesome - I want to try Aranea Ienith as a follower on my next playthrough - the priestess who guards Azura's star :p It's a shame Karliah and Brynjolf can't be followers permanently :(Īwhh yes, Karliah and Brynjolf.Two of my favorite NPCs, and they can't be followers :hea.When i think about that's mostly the I like either die or aren't able to be followers or get married. I took back all my stuff off her, stored it in one of my homes and married Argis, and gave him all my new stuff so I wasn't losing anything. Yeah, I found Lydia to be very annoying :p She also blocks entrances and exits and randomly attacked Meeko for no reason. Barbas is the immortal if my memory is correct.I don't know many other possible followers.I'd like a mage follower I haven't had one yet :) Right now I have Lydia.Though I think i am going to let her go because most of the times she prevents me growing my sneak skills.Like if the eye in sneaking starts to open a bit she goes straight and attacks.But i'll have to keep her since she is carring all my smithing stuff.Īnyway Meeko is a dog right?I had him with my previous charcter and didn't want him to follow me because i would be sad if he dies.So i told him to follow me and then put him in Breezehome and told him to wait.After couple of days a message came up saying that Meeko left.
